Anesthesia
Provides anesthesia services for surgery as well as emergency anesthetic care and post-op critical care; responsible for the support of a patient\'s life functions while undergoing anesthesia. Also specializes in pain management.
Cardiology
The study of diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the heart and blood vessels.
Counseling
The process by which a professional counselor helps a person cope with mental or emotional distress, and understand and solve personal problems.
Dermatology
A branch of medicine dealing with the skin, its stucture, functions and diseases.
Emergency Medicine
Diagnosis and treatment of sudden, unexpected medical and surgical problems ranging from critical care of traumatized patients to treatment of minor injuries and illnesses. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Family Practice
A family physician is a doctor of medicine who does not limit his or her practice to a particular field of medicine or surgery, and is committed to the concept of personalized and continuing comprehensive health care.
General Practice
General Practice physicians diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and disorders for people of all ages.
General Surgery
Diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injury and deformities requiring an operation.
Gynecology
Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system.
Hematology
The study of blood and blood-forming tissues.
Internal Medicine
Diagnosis and medical treatment of all general medical problems in the adult.
Nurse/Midwifery
An advanced practice registered nurse who is prepared academically and clinically to manage and care for expecting women and newborns.
Obstetrics
Care for women throughout pregnancy and delivery.
Oncology
The branch of medicine that deals with tumors, including study of their development, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Ophthalmology
Diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the eye (e.g. cataracts or retinal detachment) and general medical eye examinations, including prescription of glasses.
Orthopedics
Correction and treatment of diseases, injuries, and deformities of the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
Otolaryngology (ENT)
Medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose, and throat.
Pathology
Laboratory examination of the different structures and functions of the body in order to identify a disease, determine its cause, and monitor its treatment.
Pediatrics
Preservation of physical and emotional health in infants, children and adolescents.
Physiatry
Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury using physical agents such as light, heat, cold, water, electricity, therapeutic exercise and mechanical apparatus.
Podiatry
Diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg.
Psychiatry
Prevention and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders caused by stress, interpersonal conflicts, and physical illness.
Pulmonology / Critical Care
Diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the lungs and respiratory system.
Radiology
Diagnosis and treatment of disease through the use of various imaging and treatment modalities. Available procedures include film x-rays, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT Scanning, Mammography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
